Care Screening Guide

Care, the critically acclaimed documentary by Deirdre Fishel and Tony Heriza, chronicles the direct care workers who aid our rapidly again population and the elderly that rely on them, exposing a system that isn't truly working for either party.

My job is to revive the interest in the film after the pandemic, a time where our care infrastructure was stretched to the breaking point. The film was released in 2016, but its message is more relevant than ever. I updated the research, discussion questions and visuals of the discussion guide to promote screenings, tailoring the guide to community organizers, women's rights organizations and faith based organizations.
